Institute Summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Head & Neck Institute offers world-class, highly complex care across a very broad array of conditions affecting the face, head, and neck. The institute combines the expertise of head and neck surgeons, otolaryngologists, facial plastic surgeons, audiologists, oral surgeons, dentists, and voice specialists to provide compassionate care for adult and pediatric patients. It collaborated in the world’s first successful larynx transplant and the world’s first near-total face transplant, and it is one of the largest programs of its kind.

The Head & Neck Institute is one of 26 clinical and special expertise institutes at Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit academic medical center recognized in the U.S. and throughout the world for its expertise and care.
